Who has the lowest vin/build number?

hah well i'm guessing that since my car has a production sequence number of 45,327 that it is the 45,327th car of the GD model. If you average that number since june of 2001 that comes to like 7000 cars per year. I just got my GD3 fit not too long ago, it was probably one of the last fits made for 2008.
i've been curious as to some of the statistics about how many fits have been produced and how many were sold to each of the markets around the world but i can't find any info on that.
edit..
there's a GE8 for sale at my local dealership with this VIN: JHMGE87249S000136
136!
so i don't know, does this blow my theory as to why my production sequence number is 45,327? because they have been making GEs for Japan. Have over 45,000 GD3s been sold in North America? That's what I mean, I don't know what is a realistic number and I want to see some stats. I can't even imagine what 45,000 Fits would look like.

Keep in mind that the serial numbers do not necessarily start at 00001, and they may not be totally "serial" either.
This is a little OT but it may shed light on how serial numbers might not always represent what you may think they may.
I don't know much about Honda serial numbers but here's what I learned about BMW's numbering system. I own one of the lowest known serial number of any North American M3 sedan when they were first introduced in to this market in Model Year 1997.
My Bimmer's serial number is 05010 but this does not mean my car was the 5,010th off the line. On the contrary, they started the numbering somewhere around 05001. (However, looking up the production dates of the first half-dozen cars, those were made months before mine. Units used for crash-testing perhaps?)
Another twist is that automatic M3 sedans were numbered with 10XXX instead of 05XXX The earliest known S/N of an automatic is 10013 built the same month as my manual. So two cars, one a manual and one an automatic built the same month and possibly during the same week are separated by 5003 in their serial numbers. Go figure.
