Is the Fit a modern day N600?
"When Honda brought the N600 to the U.S., it ws truly unlike anything American drivers had seen before. It was small, fuel-efficient and available for a humble $1,300. As such, introducing this vehicle to the public required a different approach. One that would challenge Americans to view their cars more as forms of practical, economical modes of transportation and less as representations of their identities. I voted No since the price for the Fit is not that humble. I think that the Mitsubishi Mirage may be a more worthy candidate given its lower price and higher fuel efficiency. I do wish there was a contemporary equivalent to either the N600, original Mini Cooper, original VW beetle, or other humbly priced, fuel efficient, yet capable car.
