Where can I buy...

Where could I find the rubber insert that goes between the driver's side door and the window? Mine was damaged by a "good Samaritan" who opened my car door with a coat hanger. Now there are two tears in the rubber that allow water to enter through the top of the window whenever I go through a carwash. Thanks so much for any information.

Any Honda dealership.

Or if you can locate the part you need in a Honda dealers online parts catalog, you can DIY at a discount.
I know someone in Hi. who had stuff shipped from the states to there and it was still cheaper than paying dealer prices on the island.

I was hoping to avoid going to the dealer which would undoubtedly be the more expensive route, of course.
Thanks, I'll try to find an online Honda Parts catalog and just do it myself.

There are a bunch of US dealers selling genuine parts cheap online. Most are around 30% off MSRP.
Here's a few to check out

majestic honda (the one I usually use for parts catalog pics)
hondapartscheap
hondapartsnow
bernardi honda
bill kay honda
college hills honda
and more

Watch out for shipping fees.

Just for the record, they call those "dew wipes", because they "dew" wipe the dew off the windows when you roll them down.

Lol, no it's not. Youre talking about the brush/felt-like part at the bottom of the window. That's not made of rubber. If you paid attention to what I wrote, you would've seen that. I've never seen anyone try to unlock a locked car from the bottom of the window.

It was standard practice up until like the late 90's when they finally put a guard in to prevent it ,, Slim jim and 20 seconds and your car was gone..

I locked the keys in my fit a while back ,, the lock guy used a little air bag (Just like they take good pressure with)and a squeeze bulb to lift the window frame out then slip a articulated rod in to push the unlock button..

I have unlocking tools that go under the glass. They are intended for certain cars though.
The long bar dwtaylorpdx spoke of is very quick and works well on many cars.
