Stick shift

Prob a dumb question but the gear shift numbers are upside down or slightly sideways. What is the best way to fix so they face the correct direction? Also can I replace the skirt on the shift? It's got a small rip.

I'm not sure about the Fit, but most all manual shift knobs are simply screwed on. A twist ought to orient it correctly. My Fit is an Auto, so I can't address the boot around the shift, but this too should be easy, often with removal of the center console.

The knob is just threaded on with an interference fit. Just turn it until it aligns properly. I had to adjust mine a slight bit.
