So Yesterday morning my G/F went to go to work and noticed that there was No sound coming outta the speakers. The radio turns on and you can change the channels but there is absolutely no sound coming from the speakers. they worked the day before with no problems. I checked it out when she got home and I'm stumped and have no clue whats going on, any Ideas or solutions to whats going on. (Its a 2007 fit) Any input would be great. Thanks

 

OK, since you said any input...the service manual for the car has complete diagnostic paths for the stereo system, as does alldatadiy.com. My left channel quit and I had to replace the driver side wiring harness. I live in a cold climate so it is not unexpected. But both channels at once? Sorry, no experience with that one. If you are not handy mechanically I would find a stereo shop that you know you can trust. Sorry I can't be more specifically helpful.

 

Oh - one more thing - since this is a girlfriend thing - just scroll through all the settings for your stereo system. She may have hit a mute or something inadvertently. Could be a free fix.
