fish tank in the back of the fit?

do you guys think that a 24"x 24" x 48" inch fish tank will fit in the fit?

my car is in the body shop right now, and i need to pick a fairly large fish tank as soon as i get the car... im wondering if you guys have any experience fitting such large objects in the fit?

My brother carried a full-sized garden tiller in the back of his Fit. Don't see why a fish tank wouldn't "fit" as well. Try configuring the seats....you should be able to make it work

What is that? a 55 or 100?

I would think that either one would fit if you put the front seat down. It might be difficult getting it in though.

I fit a box containing large all-in-one printer in there once after i bought it. the funy part was, I thought I'd have to put the back seats down. You'd be suprised how many things you can fit in the back w/o putting the seats down.

Recently my mom's SUV tire broke. that fit in the trunk.

The only things i've needed to put the seat down for was for long stuff like mops and a door mirror.

And of course if it the tank is too big, just put the seats down

I have a 79 civic wagon and I carried a 66gal (24"x18"x48") in the back of it with the seats down. The fit has more interior room than that, I wouldn't think you would have a problem.

To answer your question, yes it will fit. You will to put it in from front-to-back by folding down the rear seat(s).

I put a 54" box in the back of mine and I had to move the passenger side seat up a couple of notches.

You could possibly just put it in the back seat area, too, by sitting it on the seat, or put it in tall mode.

There are a variety of possibilities, but the bottom line is - it will fit without any issues.
