When I purchased my Fit, I was in strong negotiating mode and, in the process, had the dealer deactivate the security system (an unrequested dealer add-on) in the interest of cost savings. I'm now second-guessing that decision.

Is it possible to have the dealer reactivate the system, and if so, what should I expect cost-wise?

Alternatively, can anyone recommend a good aftermarket alarm system that doesn't cost a fortune?

 

Hi, did you figure out how to active or install a 3rd one ?

go to a local shop and have an aftermarket alarm installed if u so need one.
