alternator relpacement

if i ever needed to replace my alternator should i get an OEM or can i use a Mitsubishi equivalent, cause the dealer wants 455 bucks which i think is a little crazy

You can have your alternator remanufactured in a local shop if you can afford the downtime.

I work, part time, for a motor spares supplier. I would just opt for the 3rd party part they stock. They take the old part and supply a refurbished and guaranteed part for about £100.
