I just purchased a 2008 fit with 25k miles on it 5 speed manual. I bought because i hear great things about reliability. It will be used as a commute car to work. Sooooo. How good is the powertrain in these cars? Is what i hear true?

190,000 miles of driving ours pretty hard and no serious failures. Been through some brakes, tires, one clutch, and a fuel pump.

Otherwise, just routine oil changes and valve adjustments.

How in the world did you find a 9 yo Fit with that low of mileage?

Battery was changed. Runs great. Really confident in these vtec engines. Ive done a lot of research on them.

I've never had a scratch deep enough on any bumper to reveal the unpainted cover. It ain't gonna rust, so I don't bother touching up bumper covers. That's just me

Touch up paint for metal can also be used for plastic.
