Indianapolis 500
Today's Indianapolis 500 begins with the traditional engine start at 12:14 PM Eastern and the green flag at 12:21 PM.
If my math is right, 17 Teams are fielding Honda engines and 16 Chevrolet engines. Both mills produce 700 HP from a V-6 2.2L Twin-Turbo confguration The car design is all new this year, bring back a more open Indy look and it promises to be more of a driver's car.
It's our family tradition to play my early-1960s board game of Formula-1 during the race. I loved this game when I was a kid ... and still do.

Thanks Chuck! It was fun to watch the engine telemetry displayed. About 100 data points are transmitted. Engines were often running between 11,000 and 12,000 RPMs. The cars have 6-Speed transmissions, paddle shifted. Let's build us a Fit Spec R in your driveway. <g>
