Something wrong with my A/C

ARrrggh! I love my new Honda Fit. It's about a week and a half old. Here's my problem: The A/C button is clearly in the off position (not pushed in and no green light) but I get really cold air that smells like A/C when I turn the fan on. Plus if I turn the fan up I can feel the drain on the engine.

Anyone have any advice or whatnot before I take it in to the dealer? (I bought a Honda so I didn't have to fix anything!)

Are you on the front winshield defog air directional control? Or the combo front winshield floor direction? Both of these WILL automotically turn the compressor on to more effectively clear the fog off of the windshield! Safety First!

Note: you can remove your console and unplug this function so that you have to push the A/C button manually. Look in toe DIY section!

Ok, looks like I need to read the manual! I was starting to panic. I believe I had it on defrost when I noticed the 'problem'. Thank you for the fast reply!!
