Nose scraping

Has anyone else noticed their nose getting scraped when pulling out of lots with angled gutters? Let me know. Thanks

Just go slow and be careful and you are fine 99% of the time.

yeah... even going slow, I still scrape a lot. Not much you can do about it in the city. If it makes you feel any better, there are probably a whole lotta scratches in the same area. From, ya know, different cars.

The trick is to angle yourself so that your wheel is the first thing that hits the dip, not your nose. That's why you see really slammed cars always going really slow and really sideways. Our old driveway started probably .3 inches above the street and my 2 roommates would have to go so angled that one of their wheels would free-float in the air because they were so slammed.

go slow and angled like mirrorworks said. go past the "dip" one wheel at a time, but don't go into oncoming traffic either. one wheel being lifted up in the air is more due to the decreased wheel travel that's allowed in aftermarket suspensions, and because of stabilizer/sway bars (for handling) that don't allow individual wheels to drop drastically without the other side doing the same. is that right? correct me if i'm wrong.
