I attempted to prove you wrong, but you aren't kidding. On AutoTrader, I can only find 23 new 6MT model Fits in the entire country!

Automakers are setting themselves up for some long-term pain, too. Cars have gotten larger and more expensive. It's commendable how useful they've made subcompact and compact SUVs, but they are still larger to park, more costly, and the fuel economy is probably 15-20% poorer than their non-SUV counterparts. Economic booms don't last forever, and I had been counting on replacing my 2012 Fit with another one in 2021-ish. Guess that won't be happening.

Corolla Hatch is starting to look nice.

I hope we get the Hybrid variant here in the US as well, even though I'm doubtful.
You might be the only one that thinks this shape looks better than the GK.

After pretty much giving up on a 2019 sport MT I finally lucked out and found one fairly locally after every dealer told me there weren't any coming in any time soon. I was ready to pay msrp for one but got a pretty solid deal on the exact car I wanted. 2020 can eat me I'm stoked with my 2019 sport MT.

I'm betting this $2.50 gas thing in most of America isn't going to last (most Middle Eastern families aren't happy with the reduced yearly stipend from the artificially depressed crude oil profits). The Fit packs a large cargo capacity (quite flexibly I might add) and is great on gas. My bet too is that gas taxes will increase significantly as a source of non-income taxing. So the Fit is the perfect family car.

Honda has it so well disguised there's nothing I can really say about it except I'm glad Honda unlike Ford and some other companies I can think of isn't giving up on small cars at a time where there seems to be less and less demand for them. If there was no Fit to choose from out there now, I don't know what I'd wind up buying?

Boy, the Fit just keeps getting uglier and uglier with each generation. This latest version totally lacks originality and character. Remove the Honda batch and this could pass as a generic Toyota Yaris / Mitsubishi / Daihatsu econobox.
Why can't Honda design something more original for the Fit- bring back their glory years from the late 80s and early 90s??

Cost savings thru mass standardization! One set of external parts that meets all regional regulations on a car that Honda claims they don't make much margin/car. Soon it might be a 4 color car (Any customer can have a car painted any color that s/he wants so long as it is black. Henry Ford (July 30, 1863 – April 7, 1947) )

I work for a consumer products company this allows us to keep prices low and have standardization around the world. If Dorian takes out our FL manufacturing center, we can make in OK and ship products to the Islands with only a graphics change (at te OK facility). Honda wants the same, one front driver's quarter panel that can be made into an Indian or Canadian Fit at their 7 (Fit) manufacturing centers.

Says who? Last three generations look great. 2020 is the iffy one.

Relax. We only have speculative renderings and camouflaged photos. The release date draws near, though.

It's the end of September. I thought the 2020 Fits were going to be coming out in October.....next month. Still no info eh? I'm actually holding to my previous aftermarket Fit's wheel/tires in the event that I come back over to the dark side from the Civic. Having loads of fun with the Civic but I like small cars. The Fit was perfect in just about every way shape and form for me. I just wanted more power.
