UPDATE: Thanks to all you guys, just got back into town and the stock battery did infact start up right away as predicted by most of you.

There are portable jump starter now that looks like a cellphone battery pack. You can have that as your back up.

My 2015 had been left alone with battery "connected" for 3-4wks at a time about 3-4 times a year in the period of 2 yrs. I got it as a preown at over 10k+ miles.
The car starts up fine everytime. I had prepared having to jump start it. Did that to see how the car's power management system work. Newer car should have smarter power distribution system. Much of the electronics on the car would get out of standby mode if the car senses it is not being used for multiple days to prevent battery drain. Was hoping the FIT has some of this. It worked out so far.
