I'm curious... will these sway bars make a big difference? I asked my hubby what they were and he explained them to me. I might be interested (if the price is right) but I have to find someone who can install them for me too as I'm not very technically inclined. If anyone can explain to me if it would be good to have them in my car, if it'll make a big difference and if I can get someone to install them for me for reasonable price, I might be interested. By the way, can someone tell me what the group price is vs. the individual price? Thanks!

From my knowledge I know they make a nice difference in the feel of the car, but not a huge numbers gain in handeling. IMO You may want to look into getting some performance springs first, that will give you a lot more dramatic results. I am using Tanabe GF210's, I believe Illusive is using Eibach Pro's. I also see that AJ-racing has the T1R's availaible which look like a nice setup. A&J Racing :: Suspension & Brakes :: Fit/Jazz (GD3/4) :: T1R S-Coil V2Lowering springs for Honda Fit 06+

In any case, PM me if you are interested in the buy. I will send you the buy-price they quoted me. If you like the price I will order one for you too.

OMG I dunno what to do! Should I get this one or wait for the T1R Sway?!?!? YARRRRRR!!! And yes, I'm running the Eibach Pro Kit along with JDMish and Nakamura. Yeah I STILL haven't been able to get the tires to chirp on a hard turn. I was making the left turn from SB Shaganappi onto the connector to get onto Crowchild Trail. I remember going about 45 to 50 in the G35x (stock everything but the intake) and I could hear the tires starting to give out with some minor chirping. Yesterday I wanted to have some fun in my Fit, so I did that same turn going at least 60 as I was rounding the outside of the turn since a slow minivan was on the inside...a smidge of body roll and NO chirping...makes me want to go faster!!! I still have to install my front strut bar too!!! Dammit, when do you need a decision by Sugarphreak? I think our SS should be in soon too

Wow... I had no idea there's so much you could do with the Fit. I thought there was lots you could do with a Civic but didn't think much of the Fit. I'm impressed. I'd be interested in the sway bars so please let me know. Compared to everyone else, I haven't done much to it. I'll hold off on the springs and stuff until the meet. I'd really like to see what everyone's done with their Fits and then I can decide better.

Springs will help a lot, but you risk blowing out your stock struts. I'm going to upgrade mine to the T1R adjustable dampers when they come out in October You don't want to know how much you can do to your Fit...seriously I think I've spent most of the money I earned in the last few months from my internship position that pays quite well all on the car...it all adds up!!!

lol, your hilarious! I wish I could throw that much dough at my car!! And on that topic... T1R adjustable dampeners!!!

haha, I know what you mean about the wanting to go faster part, I have been speeding up instead of slowing down when I enter exit ramps latley. I am starting to induce understeer even when I am still on the throttle so I also gotta look into stiffening up the rear a little bit more.

I was thinking about waiting for the T1R sway, but the three factors that are pushing me away are; they are both 24mm bars made with similar construction out of basically the same stuff; considering my continued wait for the T1R crank pulley, who knows when that bar is actually going to be availaible; this one is also priced slightly lower.

I think you are fairly safe to run performance springs without blowing shocks out, lowering springs are another story

Try to get a responce back to me by Monday on the Bar Illusive. And give XdimsumX a call too!

Hey All,

Just thought I would update on my Fit purchase. T&T had a slightly used Sport Fit come in last Saturday. Nice Silver colour. Nicely broke in with about 18000 km. Decided to buy it. Pick it up tomorrow. Have a Great Day! Safe driving all.

Hey Guys,

I just got the last confirmation today, I will be placing the order tommorow for a total of FIVE sway bars. This is one more than I had told B.E we originally needed so hopefully there is still some room to push the price down a bit.

I will post up an update shortly after 1:00pm tommorow!

lol, one final note... if ANYBODY else wants a swaybar PM me before noon tommorow!!!

Hey guys,

Order has been made. Price is exactly as quoted, not a penny more or less. The only thing different than planned was I had to use e-mail money transfer instead of credit card.

When you guys get the chance PM me your personal e-mail address & telephone number so I can get a hold of you when the bars come in.

Cheers!

Unhappy Swaybar Shipping Delayed up to 1 Month

Just an update guys;

I heard back from our BE rep today, they said this is going to take a up to a month to come in because they need to order in more bars from the source . Which is all kinds of headaches on my end because aside from the out of pocket expense, I am also moving on the 28th... I guess I will have to coordinate an alternate shipping address with them if they don't get them in before that date.

Anyway, I appologize for the delay. Our BE rep said they are going to try and turn around the bars to ship as soon as they come in. If I hear anything else before then I will post an additional update.

Regards,
