It's in the sig; 2007 LX

Xenon's are popular - don't know much about them. I haven't really done much to change the look of mine.
TireBob at Urban Expressions (403) 769-1771 has been really good to me and I recommend them. They have some of the best balancing equipment in Calgary too from what I understand.

Be carefull with the offset, and make sure to check out the Fit shoe's thread to help speed your search. The GE's better than the GD3, but still has high offset.

This thread might help too;

Thanks for the info CPat!!

Hey all you Calgary FIT drivers,

Question; How much does a tank of gas typically cost you, and how mank k do you get on a tank...

Also, anyone know how many k you get once the gas light comes on?

Thanks all, bpm

I used to keep track, but I have been letting it go lately. I usually get around 34mpg to 36mpg around town... I drive in rush hour every day and top up usually once every two weeks for around 30$.

I have actually never seen the gas light come on in my car, lol

LOL, so I'm guessing you just fill after a certain k or something like that?

I would say I usually I fill up whenever it is convienent, usually just before I go grocery shopping on the weekend so I can get a "superbuck" discount on my food.

If I had to guess that would be around 350 to 400km's with a quarter tank or something left.

I usually fill up when the gauge hits slightly past 1/2 empty. With gas prices around $0.929/litre right now, that is usually $20 (I have a handful of $20 gas vouchers, so it's a good mark for me to pull in and top off the tank). The last time the light came on, I managed to squeeze roughly 42 litres into the tank and it cost me $40. I usually manage 5.4 litres per 100 km on the highway (doing the speed limit), with a combined rating around 6.4 litres per 100 km in "real world" driving. I usually expect about a 500 km range, but have hit the 600 km mark frequently on longer highway trips. Even driving from Saskatoon to Calgary yesterday, pushing 140 km/h most of the way, I managed to get 425 kms from a tank. My Fit will be four years old next month. Other than the recent hail damage (ugh!), it is running like a top.

Sweet, thanks Dee!

That seems about normal to me. I just did my first fill and got 535k on it and the gas was $35. The light had come on at about 510k.

$40-45 from right empty.
Owner's manual mentions 1 gallon left (4.5L) when the low light comes on, so at 40mpg+ you make it from Exshaw to the Esso west of Calgary (from experience).

Don't worry I was joking. One day I got a call from my brother telling me to stop driving like a jack ass because I cut one of his friends off, but it couldent have been me because I was at work during the time.

but thanks for the welcome.

Best I have done is 45 mpg or 5.2 L/100km, that was driving deerfoot alot. I'm averaging 38 mpg or 6.2 L/100km

i find the light goes on after about 32 litres, and that is filling it right up.

I try to fill up right when the light goes on, so it costs about $32-$34, but noticed that gas jumped again...

Talking just bought 2008 honda fit

i just bought a 2008 honda fit sport blaze orange metalic.

location: Calgary NW
List of Mods: I dont have any mods done yet.
Future Plans: i want make the car a little lower and stiffer in preperation for a turbo, short shifter, MOTEGI RACING MR121 or MOTEGI RACING MR125 16 or 17 matte grey or matte black (but i do like white rims a little jdm style to them), JDM OEM Honda Fit GD3 LED Tail Light, retro fit headlights with hid projectors, tint, exhaust.

Hey everyone i was wondering do you suggest coilovers of just the lowering springs? being calgary and having snow sometimes just seeing how well your fits have been for winter driving when lowered?

I have been thinking about turbos over the sc, what turbo set up do you all recomend? i would love to meet up in person to see your set ups and chat.

is there a company here in calgary that would put a turbo system in?

cheers
