jh. Welcome!

Nice, I've been at SAIT for a week already. Finally my last year there, only bad thing is us electricians get stuck in the thomas riley building instead of the new one.

Welcome jh.!

Nice! We'll have to meet up every once in a while. And I know how you feel... I had taken a Electrical Principles course last year in Thomas, and a Physics course before that in Senator... terrible old buildings. I'm sorry the Thomas project isn't quite close to being done yet, haha!

I'm on the Type One Racing S-Coils V2. And love them. Winters I think are 195/55-15s.

Same here! Except that I cut the back ones a bit to make the car level. (also benefited with a stellar boost in rear stiffness!)

Did you have to have the coils re-coiled after you cut them?

Nope, I just cut along the larger-gapped spring area in a similar fashion. I went for the gamble on stiffness, since I knew that shortening a spring increases the spring rate, and I could use some extra spring rate. As a double bonus, that rate I got ended up leaving me with a very well balanced handling, where (at the limit of traction), throttle gives me understeer, deceleration gives me oversteer, and keeping a pace has neither! Super easy to control. I honestly can't wait for winter tires again to be able to slide on dry pavement and have some fun with it. These Yokohama tires I have for summer are too stuck up for sliding. Haha!

Also note I've only cut the rears for this. Which is where I needed a higher spring rate.

Well that turned out lucky! no problems with the spring seating properly in the spring seat then I imagine? I would like to even out the rear but I might just wait for adjustable coilovers. Do you drive your car to school?

If you're going to buy the coilovers soon, just wait for those. Or, if you're like me, I know I won't be using this set of springs with a coilover system anyways, haha! I haven't noticed any worse seating than before. They never really fit super well. I just continue to use the rubber cushion to make it stay where I want. Since they are so short though, they sometimes fall out of their seat when I jack up the car really high. But not during driving, don't worry, haha! You can take a look anytime if you like.

I don't plan to drive to school at all. The "free" transit pass is going to be used.

Yep. And they do ride rough. There's no doubt about that. But I like it.

Yea on stockers. Both UmmFit and I are on the T1Rs, right now A&J racing has them on for 50% off, so something like 148ish shipped to your door. We love em!

Yea, that doesn't sound to bad then. I wonder if I removed the rubber seats on my rear end if that car would sit more level...

Haha you're lucky, I haven't been able to get a transit pass since 2008 due to they don't believe apprentices are worthy of the upass. So I park at school lol.

Is anyone going to the Beyond Honda meet tonight?
