Southern Alberta Solosport Club

I thought you guys thinking of doing some auto x this year might enjoy this website and the information available.

Looks like most of it will take part in Lethbridge but who knows, if this grows there might be some great potential!

Yeah but even with the minor mods on my car I will be up against the green Lotus from the website Everytime I look into these kind of events the rules are great.... for stock cars. You don't even want to know what class Illusive would end up in with his Supercharger.

Are you signed up as a member or forum participant yet?

Sure it does, your computer must just suck

I signed up as a member, getting ready to put up the biggest NOOB post ever... hope I don't get flamed to badley.

EDIT: Nah, I chickened out

This site is lacking much needed info; annual and startup membership prices, race licencing requirements, event costs, ect.

Oh man, every time I start looking into doing Auto-slalom for fun I get lost in all the rules and regulations All the forums are full of are people getting mad for asking questions that could be found on page 88, section 3 of the CRASSGA manual or referenced in the CRASSA rules and regulations.

I just get discouraged by all the bureaucracy whenever I look into it...

At least a couple of times a year I go to the Calgary Sports car web page to look around, follow a couple links here to try and figure out how to get started.... and end up lost in a 200 page PDF file.

Why don't you just head down during one of the events and talk to the guys there, I am sure they can help you figure out how things would work with the Fit and what you would need to do to race.

That sounds like a good idea,

For the most part I was just planning on the secret street stuff for this year, if and when I pick up the BMW I will sign up for the driving school and try getting into it that way.
