The Lethbridge AutoX!
I have to see if my 17's will hold up for 2 more events, if they will I might just kill them off this year and pick up some Yoko's that just came out in that size for next summer.
Next year I am planning to run the full season; if I havn't picked up a new car yet I guess the Fit will need some serious work beforehand.
Sounds good, I call shot-gun to ride with you a few times to see how sticky they are!

I need a project car
He will get in 4 official runs and at least as many fun runs if not more. There were a few totally stock civics running at the last event, I think the Fit stock setup is a bit more stable than those cars to be honest. As an HS class you would get a pretty good PAX factor as well which should make up for it.
Is Justin on Vacation or something right now?

Different class isn't a big deal, you can still compare RAW time if you want. the PAX is just a nice way to bring everybody to a more even chance of winning based on driving skills rather than extra parts.
Here is a quick way to class your car. Ditching a part (if it is easy) is sometimes worth it to drop you into a lower class.

I am pretty sure you car is in STS

Hey guys,
we need to revive this thread since those 2 Calgary events are coming up on September 21st and 27th at the Currie Barracks.
I will be running the Fit as it sits so it will be either in Stock or HS class depending on what rulebook is used.
Who else is coming and can we start organising something for lunch and tools so if some folks need to change wheels, tire pressures and other various things we have everything we need?
Finally I plan on fielding a car for most of these events next year and would like to know a bit more about the different classifications so Nick or anyone else if you have some links that would be good.
Sounds like I'd be running STS but I'd like to get a feel of what kind of competition I would be up against since I'd like to be somewhat competitive.

I have some bad news, I was checking out the schedule and the events are way later than I thought.
The first one is on the 21st... I will be out of the country as of the 20th
ET, stock class for a Fit is HS from what I understand.
There is a pretty sweet checklist I came accross for classing your car, I will post a link when I find it.

You guys are welcome to use my service kit while I am gone, it has a portable electric impact gun, jumper cables, air compressor and tire guage.

i just spent some time in ab for a reunion, love that most things are cheaper than in bc, peters drive in is as good as i remember, but you guys could sure use a corner or two on the roads, it is a waste of the fit.
I will be back on the 25th.... of October
Sure, I will drop if off with you before then, it is a pretty handy kit to have on site. Lots of people at the event borrowed it.
Really choked I can't make it though
I have been looking forward to it all summer, I could have sworn there was one in early Sept.
