Nick, you will rub with a 205 with a 16"

Rota doesn't make a offset higher that 40 for Honda fitment so you are very limited in your tire choices. a 195 even rubs on the fit.

so 15's and you are set, never had any rubbing with a set of 205's on

They make a +45 offset wheel right now, that is one of the primary reasons I was picking this one

With a crap load of stuff i notice it. but i've got a fix for the spring that should correct all the problems.

And that must be new this year offering a +45mm option...

I'm jealous now.

I wonder if Bob can get me some Yoko's? At least that way I can get a 205/40/R16. The smallest Khumo XS for 16's are a 215/45 I was checking out the tolerances today and I am about 90% sure I will get some rub from that.

I am not sure, when i was talking to Bob he was making some recommendations and I mentioned I need a +45 offset minimum. We have already been through the pain of the +42 offset together! He said the Circut10's and the Slipstreams both came in a +45... he was going to check some other options for me as well, but with the GB it should save me a bit.

the XS is a much better tire than the Parada and it runs pretty wide so if its for super sticky tires more over looks I'd go 15's and a 205/50

Oh man, they don't have silver available for the group buy

The only colors I can pick are White, Bronze & Flat Back Red Lip... I didn't see flat black even on the availability list. I was looking at the colors on the tirerack viewer and they all look like ass to me on my SSM

Some bad news today, I don't think I am in for the Rota wheel buy. After talking to Bob he can't find a rim that will meet the requirements I need. I just can't settle on the colors he has available right now and I don't want to invest additional cash into painting them.

Hey Adam,

Are your RPF1's the +38 or +41 offset?
EDIT: Never mind, I found an old post where you mention they are +41

hehe, I also so this on that post. lol

I've been looking for rims for 2 months now and I find it impossible to get something with a decent Fit friendly offset in a 16 inch. I don't want to put 15's on my GE8... So hard to find the right wheels! If you find the right wheel and colour it has the wrong offset and vice versa

Yeah I have been reading on the GE8 thread that anything less than 50+ seems to be having problems. I only know one rim that would work, the Enkei SC05.

weight i'll find out for sure, some people are saying 16 pounds...i'll make sure.

Price $450.00

and yes, 615's i can. Just a heads up they closed a falken warehouse in canada so prices went up huge. on some sizes almost $30 a tire....

but we will try and work something out.

That sounds not bad, 16lbs for a 16" wheel...

Really that much more, that is pricey!

I wanted the Khumo XS, but there is no way I can get 215's on without rubbing. Send me a PM on what you think might work.

Sigh... I am getting really close to breaking down and just getting a set of white 15" Rota's... would be nice if I could get the silver ones.
