Meh, my wife is Chinese so she thinks it is pretty cool.

Well hopefully you don't totally renounce our friendship, on much consideration I am doing the deal tomorrow. I will try not to back into your Accord. If I do, just remember it is because is is a Hummer and nothing to do with me

The 09's are domestically built and from what I understand GM has a 2 year contract to continue building models right here in the US of A. They will honor the warranty at the dealerships even once the brand moves over so that isn't a concern.

The H3T is a bit better than the H3 SUV for visibility because it has larger mirrors for towing and I noticed right away it is much easier to see with the box instead of endless cab space. I am pretty big on visibility, it is one of the things I look for in a vehicle. Most of the SUV's I have been checking out have scooped rear ends and have actually been really bad for visibility. The Q5 was horrendous to see out of the back of!!

It will give me oodles of utility without having to buy a full size truck while still giving an upscale finish on the interior. I am really happy about the price & features. Hooray for locking front & rear difs, handsfree Bluetooth integration & XM radio

Tell you what Nick, don't worry about our friendship and if you need stuff installed on this one I will even consider it as long as my equipment can handle the weight :P

This is about as far from where I thought your final choice would be but I can understand the appeal, the ability to get a sick deal right now and the need for more utility with the new house.

You'll help me carry motors around right?

Yeah, today is the big day!! T-1.5 hours

I have been looking up specs and comparisons for the past few days;

Interesting Factoids!

The H3T manual was never rated for fuel economy as not too many people who pick it choose that option, infact it is 1:20 in favor of the auto! They only used the H3T automatic specs for fuel consumption instead. In real world testing the H3T with the automatic averages 16mpg combined; the manual gets 19.7 combined. That is nearly 20% better consumption!

The H3T is smaller than most full size pickups for length and height, yet slightly larger than most mid sized trucks... except for width. It is a whooping 7'-1" wide, that is over 6" wider than the new Ram 1500 & a full 16" wider than the Colorado on which it is "based".

Cool stuff eh?

Ok, gotta get some dinner and head out to pick my new baby up. Pics to come soon

Yes!!!

The worst part was as I was looking at them I asked the dealer "Will these come off"... he said not likely, but if they did they cost a lot.

I got home and found the driver side one gone!

I'd call today and get them to buy you a new one since it's clear someone wasn't competent enough to install it properly for you during detailing.

Yeah so they are replacing it for free, he said they are just going to assume that it was not installed correctly when I left the dealership; which makes sense, I wasn't exactly beating on it for the drive home!
