The only full coils I have installed are the t1r B52 max or something like that fairly good kit and good height adjustability. Probably much better than stock shocks and springs.

Man, this weekend was brutal! I totally botched an entire morning event, got lost every single time. At least in the afternoon I posted ONE valid time, was good enough for 2nd place on the rookie list.... finally edged out that S2000CR

As long as they don't drop the overall height too much, I want to try and cram a set of 225/50/R14's on there next year

they are height adjustable and at their tallest height the rear is slightly lowered maybe 0.5 inches. The front can go heigher than stock height if need be :P

I played around with the height a bunch, and when the front is about stock on the T1R B52 max, it is quite a stiff ride. I took it out on the road and it felt really good on the corners. I lowered it back down pretty close to road level and it was very comfortable.

Oh and I don't need that adjusting tool Etienne, my friend had one left over from his set. He sold his so he didn't need it, and he lives close to me so I didn't have to come all the way down to your neighbourhood :P

Hmmm, I might have to give it a try for next spring.

What do you think the odds of me getting a 225/50/R14 tire onto the car for next year? I know it will stick out, but I wonder if the diameter is small enough to prevent it from rubbing.

I was thinking about the Skunk2 coil-overs, I have been hearing a lot of good things about them.

Skunk2 is a good company and maybe with the right offset and some fender pulling that can all fit but you might get some paint peel from pulling the fenders.

That would also be counter productive in your quest to buy an R8

Hmmm, fender pulling is tought because they are half plastic though. I already tried that one a while back. I guess I will just stick with the 205's, but if I set them up on 14's I should be able to decrease the positive offset a bit.

I started hearing a lot more complaints about the R8 plan in the last few days... the wife has expressed interest in doing reno's on pretty much every part of the house... I can almost see the dollars sprouting wings and flying away

I still might try and do a trade for a 135i, if so I will need a lot of help parting it out!

The 135 is a fantastic car, you won't be dissapointed with that one either.
