Gen 2 fit sport rough idle and hard start
Hello, fellow fit freak new to the community here. I hope someone can help me out?
I bought a 2009 fit sport a few months ago 73000kms and was well maintained. It was running great but then noticed rough idle/shutter in gear when car was at N.O.T and also hard start (engine would turn over a couple of times before start). Other than that car runs great.
It has new plugs and coil packs, pcv vavle, cleaned egr vavle and throttle body, new air filter, and vavle adjustment. Also checked compression which was good. Used injector cleaner in fuel and have been filling up with 93 octane for the last two fill ups.
Vavle lashes were off a bit adjusted them and it did help the idle a little but still is rough/shutters.
Had a CEL on for multiple cylinder misfire before vavle adjustment but went away.
Any takes or similar experiences? I am things maybe fuel delivery system?
