converting 1 litre(cdn) to 1 U.S. gallon??
hey guys:
im trying to find out if im saving money by gassing up at Blaine(WA) since i know live in surrey(fleetwood area).
can someone tell me what 2.99us gallons is in canadian litres. i know that u.s. gallons is less than canadian gallons.
with the cdn. dollar at .93 u.s. and so on.

I have a program that I use to do the conversions, but it's at work. I think its called enggtools or something like that, you have to download and install, but it is a very useful tool if you have to do a lot of conversions...
From the first site I googled, this is what they said:
US gallon liters 3.785
and according to Wikipedia:
U.S. liquid gallon is legally defined as 231 cubic inches, and is equal to 3.785411784 litres (exactly) or about 0.13368 cubic feet. This is the most common definition of a gallon. The U.S. fluid ounce is defined as 1/128 of a U.S. gallon.
