Fit's - Dunlop SP37 A/S Tires

Hi everybody,
It's snowing in Vancouver. I had noticed a week ago how bad the tires are on black ice. Today, I drove in about 2 cm of snow. Am I the only one that thinks these "all-season" tires that came from the Factory on the Fit are not that good?

Once temperature gets below 5degrees, most of the all season tires out there become hockey pucks & starts to lose grip. A lot people say they're all season tires are NOT made for icy/snowy road conditions. They make snow/winter tires with special compound & thread that can handle cold weather, in wet/dry road conditions.

I used to live in Alberta maybe that's the reason why I don't use all season tires. Most of the stock tires out there like Michelin XGT V4(used to be on some civics?), Bridgestone RE92, Good year Eagle RS-A are just.......in the rain. So I never expect stock all season tires will actually grip in the snowy days.

BAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Vancouver can now suffer from the wrath of SNOWWWW!!! That's mostly directed at Ben since he always laughs at me whenever I talk to him about the weather hahahaha!

Anyways, yeah all seasons are total crap in snow, but it helps to have an AWD car and some skills I've gotten used to driving in crappy snowy conditions in my Fit on the stock Turanza's that they come with. Once you learn to drive in the snow, it sticks to you like glue and you won't need to change to winters, but it is always a good idea to get winter/snow tires for the winter.

Is this a Canadian OEM tire selection? My sport came with the Dunlop SP37s. I ordered winter tires and wheels, but they won't arrive until Tuesday (and its snowing right now in CT).
