Went autocross with my Fit today........

I went to the VCMC Novice Championship Tour event today. Too bad I had to leave early coz it started to rain in Pitt Meadows & I didn't bring my rain gear(the club probably DNF'd all of my runs already coz I didn't "work" on course for the afternoon session). What a shame coz I used to be very prepared when I went autocross before. And I didn't bring ANY tools(only my tire pressure gauge), my lawn chair, rain gear & WATTTTTTTER! Argggggggh so stupid!

The course design that I ran today was pretty easy, but needs to be real smooth on the throttle & steering input in order to get a good result. Ran in the F/street prepared & my fastest time today was around 32.2sec. Might be the slowest time in the SP group lol!

After all the sports shocks & springs setup helped quite a bit. Turn in was relatively quick & the rear end rotated quite well too. I just hope I can find a Quaife LSD sometime soon!!!

Yeah it's just stupid to go without rain gear & water etc. That's totally stupid when I have at least 3yrs of autocross experience myself. It's like going there without my helmet(I know they have loaners but I never use loaner helmets!).

Hope King Motorsport have the Quaife in stock!

It actually turns better than the EM1, although the civic does give a better pull out of the corner with the big final gear & LSD.....

I'm planning to do the same transmission work on the Fit sooner or later

When did they start having you put numbers on the front windshield? That would aggravate my 6'4" line of sight.
