So the factory immobilizer/security is useless? Is that why people getting a 3rd party alarm? Just curious.

i wouldnt say its useless.
3rd party alarms give added security. I have a 2 way system and it helped a great deal when my window got smashed a few weeks back as they ended up only taking my mp3 player when i had lots of other goods in the car at the time.

not to mention im from edmonton so when i lived there the starter came in handy too!

cost?

So about how much do these compustar alarm systems end up costing with installation? I may have to park in some bad ares of KC in the near future.
