saw the 09 fit at tony group.. Base model. Automatic. Silver. MSRP $20k
I think the back end of it looks dope but don't care too much for the front. Jst the compartments under the seat r Hellah cool. Front ends too big. Car just looks bigger period. Kind of dissapointed there's no sun roof

For the best deal email Julie @ jkoide@autoplex.dealerspace.com she just told me that Honda sets the mark up bar and it starts high because of the demand but, hey the more they sell the more they can get so ask for deals you might get it. Tell her tom (massage guy) sent you.

my friend thats a sales men at pflueger told me that the 09 wont sell as good as the 08 its the body shape and everything. everyone is asking for more of the 08 models. 09 he said will be mostly sold to old people. i was like hmm oh well.. sh!t happens

Nah, I believe the 09 will sell more because of the redesign. For one with the windshield pushed back it's going to be cooler (direct heat from the glass) and the engine has a real vtech (not 3 valve to four) with more bottom to top power and badly needed upgraded gadgets. Don't get me wrong I love my car but, I think the redesign is a definite plus.

the fit i looked at was the base and it was marked up to 20k from that msrp

ya the 20k was for the base too i looked at. well just have to see how well the 09 will sell.well from pictures i thought it was okay. but seeing it in real life i rather keep my gd. not my taste. my friend told me a 09 red one auto sold for like 22k with no extras.

damn 22k with no extras.. thats a lot for a fit. not saying it aint worth every penny but i dont think the 08 and 09 have that much of a difference except the extra 9 whp. i just like how all the head rests are integrated so you dont have to worry about removing them..

Went for my oil change @ TonyGroup Honda today and saw the 1-and-only 2009 Fit on the lot. It was a blue sport model. A couple took it for a test ride while I was there and backed it out of the showroom floor. I kinda don't want the 09 to be better than the 08 (cuz I have an 08 ) but I must say.....it looked really really nice.

I went to TONY Honda this week.
No Fits in stock at all.
Got in 2 one shipment and 7 the next. All were automatics.
They didn't seem interested in discounting anything. Implied they would sell the Fit at way over MSRP.
Next weekend the Hickham FCU has a TONY group sale with many models selling for less than MSRP but some are only at MSRP like the CIVIC and some are not discounted like the Fit. Sale only limited to cars in stock on hand at time of sale, no pre-orders.
The salesman thought the new Fit was better driving and handling than the older model.
