ahhh! i feel you.. i have a pretty mean scratch on the drivers side rear bumber. damn people who can't park! even in an angled parking! totally freaked out when i found out the next morning at home.
what reaaaaaaaaaaaally sucks is having it totalled. my bro in law's car got totalled from a young boy running a red light just because he didnt want to be late for canoe practice, WTF! the kid totalled THREE cars, a woman, himself and my brother. super bummer for all the money he put into it too.

soo heres fricken round three so today i parked my car on the side of my work like two feet away from the street. and 45 min into my shift my alarm goes off and i go to my car some ass hole hit and run my mirror was folded up and i have a scratch on the corner now WTF that person really couldnt drive u had to try and hit my car to hit it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! soo frcken mad

If u can't touch-up or fix the scratch, I checked Bernardiparts.com and they have the SSM mirror housing (#10, P/N 76255-SLN-A01ZE) for $73 + shipping:
Did a search and found Windward Honda has the same part for $129.
Can u make an insurance claim on it? I dunno.

its like a scratch but only mad cause the person never leave note and ****en doesnt know how to drive. well if someone really hits my mirror for real kind "knocks on wood" i'm getting jdm power mirrors
Foldable power side mirrors would be helpful both for parting in tight areas and for getting them out of the line of fire from !?!?!?!?!? drivers.
Maybe it was an SUV?
Don't know.Otherwise there are a variety of products to try to remove even the worst scratches- it's possible to repair it. Let me know if you want to try.

fo reals, people don't know how to drive here. after waiting about two months for my personalized plates to come in i had a Tacoma back into me so he could take a parking spot...i was a good distance behind him, but he said he didn't see me...i never even really had time to react it happened so fast. my new front plate got smashed from his rear tow hook and i got a small dent on the front bumper behind the plate. after that day, i've almost gotten hit and sideswiped numerous times when i'm driving...i think my new plates are cursed.
just hope the guy that hit you got more damage haha
