Damn Potholes
You just can't go anywhere without dodging potholes nowadays. Luckily I'm still rollin' my stock wheels. I feel sorry for people who's rollin' big $$$ rims.

Same for any low profile tires- 40 series or even 45 series if the sidewalls are pretty stiff like with a runflat or Ultra HP summer tire or better. Most all season tires are not quite a bad but there can be exceptions like Goodyear Eagle F1 All Season (kevlar sidewall).
In the dark, or with any bad weather and rain you have to be very careful. You won't see the potholes easily.
If you drive in an unfamiliar area, watch out.
Even stock wheels and tires can be damaged- if you are going fast and hit a deep pothole.
Pothole from hell:

During rainy seasons like this I'll always run my stock wheels. I'll even lift my car up a little just to be safe. It's just not worth the risk.
The rim repair and alignment shops are gonna make a killing.

On the H2 freeway (town-bound) in the middle lane just as u pass the Mililani on-ramp, 90% of the time, there is a HUGE pot-hole u gotta avoid. They would fix it....it rains....and it's back! I DEFINATELY don't want to run that over going 60 mph!
