I remember I left my passenger side rear window open and it got soaked, but no airbag light. I leave my rear windows open all the time, first time my car has had rear windows.

Try to get an extractor (wet vac) make sure that nozzle is clean and get as much water out as you can. That, air bag light is just telling you something is on that seat that is less than a hundred pounds (it's good actually at least you know the sensors working)

oh no its not the passenger airbag light, i see that one a lot cus i put stuff on the passenger seat.

its the side airbag light thats on. im guessing the curtain one? is there one in the seat on the side? maybe that one. anyway the bottom cushion is of the seat is kinda wet. i dried it up with some towels and open and closed the door hard a bunch of times and the side airbag light went off. i hope it stays off...

I kinda remember the salesman saying something about if the weight of the person is shifted to the side (leaning on the door sleeping) then the side airbag would shut off. So I think as it dries it should go off. I never tried that try sit in the seat and lean on the door see if it works. Good luck you might want to get some mildew killer.
