are camber bolts just used to bring the toe out (where the wheels appear to be angled outward at the bottom and inward at the top) so that you can get that flush look?

or are camber bolts used strictly for alignment? bc i got an alignment w/o them for gd.

camber bolts change your camber angle, usually for alignment but can be used for evil as well!

stock honda only has toe adjustment, which is usually good enough, but when you lower, the camber gets worse (not really with mac strut cars, such as fit) so you use camber bolts to straighten them out, or you can use them to add more camber to get better looks

or put on my wider rims? cuz when i had my 7.5" rims on i would rub till smoke came out every so often...

Island Brake and Alignment has em. Go see Derrick and tell em the scca guy with the Fit sent you. haha. You might as well have them put it on and align it because you have to do it anyways.

Oh and another thing negative camber tucks more but performs better / \, positive camber might be a little dangerous \ / unless you like sliding around.

Island Brake and Alignment has the shims too. One day when I got a long brake I might go check Derrick out. I want reduce the negative camber in the back so I can get some oversteer.

i had them do my alignment, derrick is a good guy he even hooked me up with a realignment for my attempt at recon.

i wonder if theyll be nice enough to realign my car if i pay them to put in some camber bolts/shims... wouldnt mind some neg. camber.

just adding to this, but if you make neg camber in the front, GET AN ALIGNMENT! the way our cars work, if you add neg camber, you also throw off the toe. i chewed through a pair of brand new 205/40/17's in 300 miles because of this. firestone lifetime alignment ftw!

alignments are reaaaaaaaaaally important to reduce excessive wear on your tires. bad toe angles can be bad!
