I went and bought my 09 Fit from them and they were very straightforward and honest. The salesman was very nice and truthful. Overall it went very smooth and took only an hour and half. Now I'm not too sure about their service department... I'll find out once my Fit needs maintenance. I'll keep you guys posted.

They are moving the warehouse there & opening another dealership. The other locations are staying open.

i heard they're closing down the one on irving park and moving it to randall.

overall, i am VERY unsatisfied with schaumburg honda. i would rather pick mcgrath honda or lisle honda.

my friend picked up a si the other day and schaumburg honda gave him a quote for a 36 month lease for 399 with no down payment. lisle gave him 283, whereas mcgrath gave him 263. this included taxes, licenses, etc.

I will have to disagree. We had a great experience when we bought our Element in FEB of 2008 at Schaumburg Honda, it was mostly due to the salesman that no longer works there. We just bough our FIT on Thursday from the new McGrath dealer at 90 and Randall. They put a mandatory $600 "protection package" on all their cars. $600 for wheel locks, cargo tray, and mud flaps(that they forgot to put on our car. Our price with destination was still much less than invoice, but keeping them to the quoted price wasn't easy.
A difference of $130 dollars a month means that you were comparing 36 month payments from Schaumburg, to 5 years from McGrath.

another one bites to dust. nice ripoff.

why discussing monthly? only final price on the vehicle can do the justice.
financing options are diff for diff ppl and financial strength to obtain loan as well.

I had a bad experience with Schaumburg Honda, I reserved a Fit with them and then they weren't able to get the right car. Now they are trying to get me to accept one with 500 miles on it but aren't willing to discount the price.

I've only used Schaumburg Honda's service department a couple of times, and I was not impressed in the least. I would not recommend going there for service.

I've used McGrath Honda in St. Charles, and Valley Honda in Aurora, and much prefer their service departments. Much friendlier and more accommodating..
