You're better off going over to Honda-Tech and PM-ing Clayton there.

They seemed to have abandonned this website....no news or anything from them about new products (short shifter, 5-way adjustable suspension, etc. etc.)

I have the header on my car and am extremely happy with it. I only have the mugen drop in filter and header and have noticed improved torque throughout the power band. Nothing less than you would expect from Mugen.

As far as Mugen Header not sure...I have the 2nd Gen Megan Racing Header. My decision not to go with Mugen...$800.00 plus this is my daily sales driver so I could not see spending that kinda money...but Mugen is Top Notch!
The Header install was easy, as far as gains YES. A big difference! In pulling power, a tad louder at higher rpm's..like 4-5grand. Not really noticed at low rpm's like 2-3,500 ish. I would say overall increase mid to high end power...nothing below that IMAO. As far as other mods, have the CAI N AXLE BACK.
Stock Headers are extremely restrictive! MPG has taken a little dip though! Makes the car much more fun to drive.....example...pulling onto a freeway / highway and prior to headers...car was sluggish and didn't pull. Now with the headers you will be able to pull getting onto a freeway / highway. Hope this helps n puts into visual experience.

So your MPG has decreased some? Is this due to your heavier foot or actual lower MPG?

Some people say that your MPG will increase with less restriction on the overall flow of the engine... I dont know if that is true.

It could be me having a heavy foot cause when I keep steady go for awhile I do get good gas mileage. I guess it is just fun driving the car .
But yes drive normal...good gas mileage / drive sporty...not so good gas mileage.

Peace,

OK cool. I am sure I would want to enjoy a header once it was installed too. I like getting good gas mileage, but true, it is not as fun

Wow. Now that is some intelligent advice. I couldn't have said it more eloquently myself. I am going to drive my car off a cliff the next chance I get. Thanks GenOkieDokie.
