2 am now and just got a reply from Axis Styling.
The GB price is determined by style.
According to them, it is because of the minimum manufacturing qty.
As different components are necessary across styles, Axis Styling have would not stock up too much if our total order qty is under 100 kits (thier minimum for wholesaler).
Tried my best.
Sincerely,
Panson

Panson, as the contact for the GB, will you ask Axis and see if they will break this rule once for us since we have quite a few interested? If it was based on the total number of people, I'm sure we could get even more to join in on this GB if the overall price was lower. Thanks.
He was just answering my question about getting a lower overall price based on how many total people we have in ALL instead of in separate sub-groups.
So let's get at least 4 more people for RED!

GB is still on. But Axis Styling only offer GB price by style ( not combined qty).

Panson

the tails have arrived...
I just got the LED tails from the postman yesterday. They were packaged very securely and look great in person...even better than I had expected. In addition to the lights, inside the box were 2 socket adapters and the hardware to mount them if needed.
The quality and finish look excellent but I will reserve final judgement until after I get 'em installed and lit up. I snapped some pics while unboxing and will post those when I get home tonight. I should have some installed pics up this weekend...

After actually seeing these lights, they are completely different from the picture I referred to wayyy back in this thread. These use clear lenses with a black housing on the inside, the lights i thought the black ones were, were a full smoked appearance almost like tinted lights, which i guess is another version they have
. That being said, unfortunately I don't think I will be fortunate enough to fine a whole other 9 people including myself let alone 19 people to get the best discount. oh well i suppose I'll stick with the DEPO's for now.

Yeah...I PM'd Panson initially just to make sure he was talking about the one w/ the black housing and not a tinted version. They are offered in 5 styles, 3 of which could be considered black depending on your definition
- Clear, Red, Smoked Clear, Smoked Red, and Black
I installed the Axis tails the other night and I must admit...they look damn sexy on my SSM...what a difference! The whole install took maybe 15-20mins from start to finish and couldn't be easier.
I grabbed a few shots of them tonight after work but I was running out of daylight...I'll post some of those in a bit and will take a few more tomorrow during the day & outside the garage.
Here is a quick write up of the install just in case anyone is curious. The only tools you'll need are an 8mm wrench and a Phillips screwdriver...
1. Remove the OEM tails by first taking off the plastic covers directly behind the lights and removing the 3 bolts on each side. Then just disconnect the 3 plugs and they're out. Here is what you'll be left with:

2. Remove the reverse light bulbs from each side of the OEM units:

3. Remove the turn signal bulbs from each side of the OEM units:

4. Install the included socket adapters on both of the Axis tails:

5. Install the OEM reverse light bulbs into both the Axis tails using the adapters you just mounted:

6. Remove the OEM turn signal bulbs from each of the sockets and connect to the LED units:

7. bolt on the new tails, test, and proceed to drool
