Nice shot of a new Fiat 500 with our HID Blue Headlight & Signal Light Protection Kit applied - lights on. A common question with the HID Blue headlight protection kits has been do they shine blue? No. They shine bright white:

Does your films have adhesive backing?

Also, can I pay and pick items up from you personally?

All the lighting kits are adhesive backed. We have a DIY section on the site here showing a variety of applications.

We do not offer pickup generally. We have been doing a once a month (the first thursday) pick up option at a local meet that a shop has.

Hope that helps.

We have not run an install photo contest in a year, but we are bringing it back for the fall.

More info on the site here

Anybody who has purchased a Headlight Armor product (Lighting Kit or even the Hexis Carbon Wrap) and has a photo of the item(s) installed on their vehicle can enter! The deadline for entry in December 21, 2012 (The Winter Solstice - Or the Apocalypse if you are totally fatalistic).

Thanks, we do try and keep our prices as stable as possible though we (like most producers), are under tremendous inflationary pressure. We are a manufacturer direct, so the HeadlightArmor Clear, HID Blue, Racing Yellow, and Smoke Light kits - Home site is the place to get them. Let me know if you have any additional questions.

I just bought the Blue headlight armor, unfortunately when i installed it
I left a lot of fingerprints. I never had any experience installing something
like that before.

Is there any way you could tell me how to clean the fingerprints away?
Will the small bubbles go away?

Thanks

If you have fingerprints on the adhesive side (usually due to not keeping your fingers wet and / or not haveing clean enought hands) they may or may not settle out. If they are on the outside you can try a vinyl conditioner like 303 products makes. Good for regular care too.

As for small bubbles, most will dissipate over time. The real key is not to get / leave them during the install. Most bubbles are a result of insufficient pressure on the squeegee, or not overlapping your strokes. If during the install you notice you have left a bubble you can carefully lift the material, re-wet and re-squeegee.

Hope that helps.

Getting a number of entries in our photo contest, Headlight Armor Fall 2012 Photo Contest . When entering be sure to send large enough photos. The photos need to be at least 900 x 675 pixels. Good Luck and as always, thanks for choosing Headlight Armor!

Thumbs up Video DIY Installation Tutorial added for Fog Light Protection Kits

We just finished a DIY Install Video for the application of our Headlight Armor fog Light Protection Kits on all small fogs - less than 4" in diameter. We have had a variety of photo tutorials on the site, but this is our first shot at a video. The video is in real time, uncut. We used our GT Yellow kit - the most popular color for fog light applications. Though not a Fit, the installation procedure is exactly the same! Take a look at the video and let us know what you think of it! If you have a youtube account give it a thumbs up

Tried a few different ways to embed the video, none worked…

For a lot of Americans, October is closing out on a low note. As we head into the sunset, know that tomorrow is a new day and a new month. Sympathies for those who have lost, and a speedy recovery for all!
