Where did u see them on display? I don't think they are bad at all by if u think about it everything that is aftermarket is one notch lower than oem ! But for preventing scratches and stuff I can put a clear vinyl which I may or may not ! Who knows ! But hey never hurts to give opinions

when I was on vacation in asia. clear vinyl would work even if just the edges... well, specially the edges and wouldn't worry much elsewhere

Nice !!! Well my stockies have held up pretty good so I wouldn't worry to much but to each their own right ?
