MIMI1's Detailing ....

Summer is winding down but all those miles of summer motoring are adding up. Getting a detail before the summer is over is a good way of keeping the paint ready for fall and eventually winter.

Since the schedule freed up for the next two weeks, my mobile detailing services are open for anyone looking to get cleaned.

3 types of final coatings are available. Pinnacle Liquid Souveran Wax (great on light colored cars lasts 3-5 months), Meguiars Synthetic sealant #21 (great on all color cars lasts 4-8 months), and one of the best waxes I have worked with Pinnacle Souveran Carnauba Wax (perfect for darker colors lasts 2-4 months). Leatherique is another great product which I offer to enthusiasts. It is a natural combination of enzymes dubbed a "Rejuvinator Oil" which softens the hardest of leathers and restores shine and that supple new leather feel to leather that may be old, weathered, and improperly taken care of. "Prestine Clean" works with the "Rejuvinator Oil" to clean out what contaminants and dirt may have been stored in the leather over the years.

2 Step = 65-70% of light swirl marks removed
3 Step = 75-85% of moderate and light swirl marks removed
4 Step = 90-95% of heavy to moderate swirl marks removed (including wetsanding)

hi there, is the Meguiars Synthetic sealant hard to apply? I have kept my car extremely clean since I got it a couple months ago, but now I am thinking of adding a protective coat to it. I thought about waxes, but it seems that sealant may be a better option.

Any tips or other advice?

I own a 2010 storm silver metallic honda fit.

Also, do you think the wet look of a sealant would look better than the deep look of a wax? I want to try and have the shine of a sealant, but make the gray look deeper as with a wax.

I know this has been confusing :P but again, any help/advice would be greatly appreciated!!!

sealant is more generic and will make the car shiny rather than pop

sealant is good if you dont care as much or its used as a base before wax
