Fits-In-Tune 01/10/10 "Putting the pedal to the metal" meet
The meet will still be on even if it rains. Only snow will we cancel the meet.
A note to everyone going/driving there:
We will be a caravan of 12+ Fits. This will be interesting and fun. However, we ask that everyone NOT to speed and/or race during the caravan there. Please be aware that this club is not a racing/street racing club. We strongly discourage this type of driving activity. Save the racing urges for go-karting. The caravan will attract attention. So, let's not make it worse by attracting any law enforcements along the way.

All,
We will leave the 1st meet spot in Queens no later than 10:30AM. Please make every effort to arrive before then. Club forms need to be filled out there and payment for the races that day will be collected (time permitting). Please have the proper payment ready that day. No credit cards, money orders, IOUs, or checks. This will decrease our waiting time there at the track. There are also waiver forms to fill out for the track. I will try download this waiver form from their website and have them ready by the meet.
There will be a meeting point along the I95 in CT. We are meeting up with another member there. It is the rest area right after Exit 12 along the I95 in CT! The pitstop will be short.
Please have your gas tanks filled up for the day before you get to the 1st meet spot. Gas is a little more expensive in CT.
If anyone has a set of walkie-talkies, you may want to bring it along. This will help if some of us get lost in traffic along the way. It is faster to communicate with others than with a cell phone.
I will also have printouts for the directions to get to the track for all those that don't have a GPS.

Yea, Dario....We posted about this in the Official member thread last week/year..So, it's somewhat "old" news..
