Mid- October Long Island Cruise!

LOL, um was it speeding?
usually i am on the BQE. crawling along. i live in staten island.
i love the ticket on the windsheild of the NYPD car. cute.
There are at least a few fits out here - they are very anti social owners though. i am dying to talk to them. one is a young girl with a blue fit. another is a middle aged guy with a silver fit, saw a really old old lady with a red fit. talk about your demographics. i see a white fit parked and it never goes anywhere.
i saw a fit sport in the dark grey the other day - it was so beautiful. i wanted it bad. but he just sped by me not realizing what lousy gas milage he was in for. as i was nicely waiting for a light and trying to conserve gas.

I totally hear what you're saying. There's a mother that drives around my neighborhood with a Blue Sport, there's another silver sport a couple of blocks away from me and every time I see her I honk my horn and wave - she probably thinks I'm hitting on her.
I try to keep my speed in the 60-70mph range. I've been able to squeeze my best mileage at 60mph, an actual 38mpg, but you know and I know that nobody drives at that speed constantly.
Sometimes I give the Fujita Short Ram Intake and Fujitsubo Power Getter cat back (sounds so good together) a workout when I see an STI or Evolution, I can hang with them in the twisties and when the road gets crowded, but when we hit a straightaway...forget it. This car is a primary candidate for Turbo/Supercharger/and or NOS!

According to this meet turn out seem like so great, and few members come from NJ/Far NY, so We allow members up to 30 mins late (Traffic or whatever happen). So, we will wait till 2:30pm then we will start to cruise.
Is everyone ok with this suggestion??? I will PM my phone number later to the members who attend to the meet

Are we still meeting at the TJ Maxx in Glencove? I confirmed my schedule for that day, and should be done by 3:30, and hopefully will get to the TJ Maxx by 3:45 or so. I know where it is but I can't remember how big the lot was. Will we be taking pics there or another location(s)?

Just want to confirm that the meet location is the DD parking lot at:
21920 Northern Blvd, Bayside, NY 11361
West briefly on 25A from the Cross Island Parkway? Google maps isn't happy with the address we have posted on here.

Would anyone be interested in (4) 16" SSR wheels for the Fit?
For the guys that have seen my vehicle before they were my old rims - anthracite grey finish with a polished lip, 2 were bent on the inside of the wheel after smashing into a pothole but I had them repaired and made round again. I have since replaced them with ANOTHER set of SSR rims(couldn't wait for the repair as this is my daily driver) so now I have an extra set!
Lemme know...
