I'm assuming you mean the ability to telecommute. Yes, I think a number of companies have realized that people can be fully productive while remote. Hopefully that sticks.
One of the two women hit by that driver in Seattle died I think Tuesday. That driver was on some rehab route and maybe even was high. That will pan out if he was or not. She sounded like she was an awesome person to know.

If you were actually interested in the truth, Mike, instead of simply making shit up to fit the narrative you have been fed, you'd find numerous videos of people innocently going about their day who were attacked, unprovoked, by "protesters".
Perhaps the most famous of which is the tanker semi-truck driver who was allowed to proceed over a closed bridge that was known to be filled with "protesters" and was attacked completely unprovoked. Where was he going? He was making a fuel delivery to a regular customer of his. A owner of a gas station. Who happens to be black. Who stood up for the truck driver after he was smeared (much as you are doing) as a "wHiTe sUpReMacIsT". After the gas station owner stood up for him (i.e. the truth came out), the story completely disappeared.
There are more videos than you'll be able to count of people trying to get where they are going, creeping slowly down the street so as not to hurt anyone, when "protesters" simply attack the car because they are there. What does one do when the indiscriminate mob descends and starts bashing their car with myriad implements? You get the hell out of there because you fear for your life. Sometimes, that means the attackers in front of your car get run over. Would you let yourself get beaten or killed in that situation? Of course not. You mash the throttle.
Have a look around Mike. You'll find plenty that completely disproves your ridiculous statement. Can you find anything to support your statement at all? I mean, you don't actually believe what you wrote, do you? You must be trolling.

This is, unfortunately, probably true. Both sides make bold prediction and knowing statements about longevity of this epidemic, danger or relative safety. However, I don't think any of the experts really know what the hell will happen. So playing it safe, is, well, the safe thing to do.
I'm all for remote work where practical. The idea that knowledge workers need to be locate their physical presence in a specific spot to do their job is often demonstrably silly.

1. You say some really outlandish and untruthful stuff (like your absurd comment that elicited my response earlier in this thread) and call people Nazis and racists. That deserves a response.
2. When you're being reasonable, the debate is is actually pretty decent and I like a good debate. Almost decent enough to put aside the Nazi and racist namecalling.

Agreed and it's their own fault. Once protest ceases to be peaceful, it's no longer a protest. Blocking roadways is not peaceful protest, and thus no longer a right guaranteed. It's time to arrest the 'protesters' for their own safety and that of others.

Protests work because they make people uncomfortable. They work because they command attention.
Roadways are public infrastructure. They’re for us all.
Number of murders of white people and black people are not that far apart. The sad thing is that per capita more black people are dieing because they make up a smaller percentage of the US population.
Most white people are murdered by other white people. Most black people are murdered by other black people. If black people want other races to consider black lives matter, they might want to let each other know that too.
