What’s the difference between Glass coating vs Ceramic coating?

Let's start with ceramic coating. This form of coating is a liquid polymer specially made to stick to the paint of your car. The ceramic coating provides a layer of protection that fills the space with scratches.
The best feature of the ceramic coating is its hydrophobic nature. What it does is help to repel water that can also harm your vehicle. Because it provides a layer of protection, any debris doesn't stick easily to your car – making it easier to wash your car.

On the other side, glass coating is nearly the same as ceramic coating. There are just a few structural distinctions between them, but they generally create a level of protection for your vehicle. Both glass and ceramic coatings use nanotechnologies to make their magic happen.

So, the difference between the ceramic coating and the glass coating is their efficiency. A glass-coating is more stable than a ceramic coating. And indeed, a more reliable alternative typically ends up being a more costly option.

Unfortunately, despite constant maintenance efforts, the glass coating typically wears much faster than the ceramic coating. Glass coating also offers greater shine compared to ceramic coating. The only benefit of using a ceramic coating is its high hydrophobic consistency.

So everyone thinks glass coating vs ceramic coating, which is better for your Honda Fit (and other Honda models also)?

Use Rain-X. It's much cheaper and easy to re-apply whenever needed.
