Mugen LIES!

Well, I've found 2 images, both of which are the same image and edited in photoshop.

Here's the first one:

And the 2nd:

What I want to know is, what are the rims featured on the first picture? I assume they are Mugen M5's but as far as I could find out, they don't make these M5's in 15inch as pictured. Am I perhaps right to assume it's just a photoshop of some M5's (ie: not really on the car). That's a shame of so, they look nice!

Why would this be an issue, photo manipulation has gone on for years?

Look at the factory sales brochures for the Mercedes Sprinter and Freightliner Sprinter. Same photos, but just a change of grilles and badging and license plates.

I have another brochure from the UK dating from 1970 or so where the cars (built in Europe) were reversed to make them RHD, but did not change the badges when you look closely.

Yes they are Mugen M5's. They were available in 15x6.5 but are EXTREMELY RARE also Discontinued. I was on a mission to find these wheels for MONTHS with no luck of finding them. I ended up giving up on these wheels as I have NEVER seen the 15inch ones on a car in the US

Yup, those are M5's...and as Chris already mentioned, in the ultra-rare 15inch..

The M5's recently got discontinued.

they do not have them. If they had them they would have been on my car already. Im about 95% sure no one in the US has these in 15inch 4x100. Ive seen a couple of them in the 17 5x114.3.

Yup, what Chris says..

Besides, all they do is buy a bunch of wheels off of Yahoo Japan Auctions and such, load them up on a big trailer and ship them over here.

There's been many a time I've seen a lot of wheels sell on YJ only to end up on ICB's website!!!

Either way, thumbs up to them as they're bringing over what people want!! Any they always have good clean wheels!!!

The final version arent that rare. See them all the time for about 1/2 the price there. The 20th anniversery ones are more rare, then you have the SUPER RARE 16" ones. In anycase theyre still not M5's
