Unhappy Ouch!!!!

Only twelve days....and today a driveway "bit" my Fit!!! Beware of ANY driveway with a steep angle of entrance, it doesn't matter whether you come across at an angle or not. My Fit is not lowered (and won't be) and I got a nasty scrape...fortunately, you've got to get down and look under the bumper as it (just barely) is out of sight range. I need an aspirin and a bandaid!!!!

dang I really dont see how people could hit this bad on a driveway not lowered... Maybe because im used to allways having a lowered car. But my driveway is probably one of the steepest inclines out there and i can get in and out of my driveway without scraping in the Fit or the S. I occasionally scrape but its one of those just barely scrapes. Id say my driveway is about a 30+/- degree angle

lol! You say you don't see how one can scrape, but that you "occasionally" scrape, but just "barelY"?!? A scrape is still a scrape, whether barely or not..at any rate, the first damage to ones' new toy hurts! :-)

scrapes

I got a few scrapes myself. Car is not lowered. I got the majority of my scrapes driving on driveways and alleys in Seattle. Now I'm scared everytime I approach any type of bump. The front lip is taking a beating.

I've got quite a few scrapes myself, and mines not even lowered! my neighborhood consists of many steep roads and driveways. luckily I can't see the scrapes unless I lay on the ground and look under it. and o god is it ugly!

Scrapes

I scrape my car all the time on my driveway, no matter how slow I go or the angle I go up it at, and mine too is not lowered. But other than aesthetics, will scraping the front bumper do any damage to the car? Will I need to replace the bumper at some point?

I'm hoping my wife damages mine (it's lowered) she drives like a bat out of hell. then I can get an aftermarket bumper/ lower lip (and I'd have to get a rear one too.)
