So what became of this? Did you get paid well by your insurance company - maybe enough to get aftermarket wheels?

 

Well, Time was of the essence (we have alternate side parking on the street here, and the traffic cops do not care about any excuses). I tried finding used sets of wheels in my area through craigslist, but couldnt find anything that would fit. Since it is our only car, I couldnt really go shopping for wheels, and the online places would take too long to ship.
Anyway, I ordered them from Bay Ridge Honda, got them the next day (about $1000 for the pair of wheels and tires! ooofff!). They made my pregnant wife sit around for hours while they figured out what tires were stock for the sport model (isnt this stuff in the computer?), but my FIt is back to normal.
Insurance covered the whole thing, minus my $500 deductible.

THis week some d-bag swiped my rear bumper and scraped the hell out of it. I hate NY.

 

That sucks... get your car back to normal, with replacement wheels and some guy hits your bumper...
