Well, it was down to the wire. I would either spend a year in South America and see my family only on occassion or find a miracle. Well, the miracle came and I just finished signing the paperwork to start in 3 weeks!

For those who know me or of me, the job is the same "type" with the "man". My status stays the same in that regard, but the position is a big jump for me and the pay, well the pay is just super. I will be a network engineer and I am looking forward to starting my new career. The wife is definitely happy as well as the rest of the family. So we will see how far I can go with this. Just kind of happy so figured I would post!

Dropped the word to my supervisor today and it was kind of shocking for them...But I have to look out for myself. almost 6 years with the same company and it is time to go forward.

So if I am distant in the near future, I am just settling in my new digs.

Thanks man! She has the Expedition but I am going to have to remind her that the good ol petrol is getting too expensive! I MAY can talk her into a Honda CR-V but that may be the smallest she can go! But thanks for the support everyone.
