Goood Gawd!!!!

My nose froze reading that...
its like 68-70 here right now and I am really cold! I know its sad...but when my chest get cold now I'm in a world of hurt.

I have actually (not that I can recall anyway) never been in a place colder than about 20deg f.
Do the sils and rubbers stick on the fit when you try to open the door?
Do some rubbers and plastics get really brittle and crack?
Have you ever licked your Fit and got "STUCK" ? HAahahahaahaa

ya the touch free car washes are my best friend= even with NHBP
but the thing is they dont clean the car just wash a bit off, how can you clean your dinner plates with out using a sponge? same idea, its just a rinse
in my town we have like 23423 car washes all owned by the same company (scrubbin bubbles) and they are building a new one too
i have been through a cloth car wash in NJ i was so nervous i stood and watched it through the windows as it was carted through..
it did ok but it was warmer out i will never wash my car when its cold out again as climbing through the trunk of my 99 civic coupe (last car i had) all dressed for work and running late was not fun at all!

as far as the fit in cold no everything feels well - it starts perfectly no complaining and the heater works pretty quick (for just me in the front) the doors dont stick or anything either( not yet knock on wood) i wish the steering wheel could be heated but the side vent points perfectly at it. i like how the seats warm up pretty quick too but i feel that if the gas wasnt there it would warm up quicker...?

usually i wait for a 40 degree day and then go to the car wash/ oil change shop by my house.

i absolutely hate not being able to wash the fit myself, but it breaks my heart to see it covered in nasty abrasive salt currently, it looks horrible and makes me sad.

but tomorrow is supposed to be about 35-40, maybe i'll go then....

Burrrr!!! Same here wind chills of about 10 degrees - I paid these guys to put down gravel into my garage so I could park the Fit out of the weather. We got about 2 1/2 inches of snow and I almost stuck up in the unpaved alley. So the Fit is parked on the street for the 2nd night in a row and this morning was covered with fresh powder. I can't wait until spring to get it washed and detailed! Already planning for clay bar and the new Meguiars Next Generation Waxes. Saturday in the garage with just the Fit and Car Talk on the radio - heaven.

update..

so its getting colder
i just went out to eat with my family i drove my mom in my car and the TPMS light was on! it stayed on the whole trip about 5 miles, one way, it was on - on the way home too, tires looked fine tho
prolly should start a mini thread but its the same topic (cold) does the light go on a lot for you guys? the car is just over 2 months with 4k miles on it so the tires shouldnt be worn right?

and yes cat nothing is better than time alone with your car in a WARM garage!
but im confused y you put rocks on your garage floor...?

The TPMS sensor only tells you when there is low pressure in the tire, not actual tread wear (unless it tells you when there is too much pressure?), if you lost a little bit and it was cold that could easily set it off from what I understand...it is darn cold by you. *nose freezes again*

Tire- Pressure -Management- System T.P.M.S.
I actually hate that we have this...but I can see its use.

Your cold engine light is coming on.

That is normal untill the car warms up. It than goes out as your car engine warms up.

If it goes on when the car is warmed up, time to go to your dealer.

Tom.

also -- going back a few posts, the front left tire had like 28 psi in it ... so the tpms works! it might have just been too cold tho no leaks
