Got a news flash for u - they still are SLAVES to the freaking liberal policies that keep them down on the plantation! They are poor because their natural human spirit has been killed through generations of WELFARE. I was not calling them slaves because of their misfortune, their misfortune has been to take welfare off the government (your taxes and mine), sit on their porches and drink their 40's and wait for the next handout. Some New Orleans residents came over here and actually found that they wanted to work, and more power to them. Many of them came over here and brought their crime with them. The police had their hands full, still do. These are people who have been dependent upon welfare for their whole lives and have never known what it is to work for a living. That destroys people! Don't you see that?

No one is a slave to anyone except Big Daddy Government nowdays, we don't own each other, and that history needs to die. If we took people off damn welfare, gave them back the jobs that illegals are now taking, gave them back their PRIDE, and allowed them to EARN the American Dream, we'd have a whole lot less problems.
