When I'm at work, I have to decide between buying coffee downstairs or drinking the stuff in our department kitchen. This morning, the coffee in the pot looked funky, and I guessed that the person that made the coffee did not rinse the pot out before filling it. Over the weekend, it was soaking in coffee pot cleaner.

Also, there are some times where the person that makes coffee uses too much! There are several people that will fill the filter half full! I call it sludge.

And I prefer my coffee black with sugar, for those that want to know.

Today's work gripe...

My workstation is a Dell w/ Intel (R) Xeon (R) CPU., 2.33 GHz, 8.0 GB of ram, am currently using simplified reps, in Pro/E, but the top assy model & drawing which I'm currently working on is still bogging me down. I know part of it is the database...but it's slow!! That pisses me off because I still have other programs going on & not really any schedule to compensate for this slowness!!

I only have this workstation (dell precision 690 w/ two 22" monitors )... it can handle bringing up explorer... but just has a bottle neck in the database...when I'm waiting for it..I post.
The simp. reps help to manage heavy assemblies & drawings w/ a lot of X-sections...but I wonder if pro/e is really using both processors or just taxing the hell out of one...

Geez! I wonder if the guy will win anything. It'd be funny if he didn't.

I've been working here for over a year, most people that do spend like that don't get much. It's just all luck. I hate the lottery...it just sucks in people's money and they wonder why they're broke all the time.

I spend only a little on lottery. I'm just hoping I win something off the lotto bingo at work. I could use the $$!

they should take all that money wasted for people playing the lottery and put it towards something that really matters.

Yea, have you added up how much you've lost and how much you've won? Your overall winnings are usually a negative number. If you do hit big, good for you, but most of us are still wasting that money and never hit. Actually my next door neighbor hit the mega million jackpot of $125million. He disappeared but I saw him once more since he won.

It has been at least three years since we have been able to mattress surf at the station. When the medic's away the monkeys will play!

I had to go into work on Saturday to do some catching up. My boss decided to move me into a bigger office and it meant one whole day lost because of moving all the small stuff in after the guys got my desk put together and moved in. I am happy to be out of the small hall office I've had for 2 years and get away from the private entrance. I swear sometimes I felt like the door girl or the female version of the guy from the Ronda show (don't know if you guys are old enough to remember that one)

I got so much stuff to catch up on. I gotta also make sure I'm caught up by the end of next Tuesday. After that, I'll be out of the office until June 23rd. I'll be taking a week and a half off from work. I'm ready for a "vacation".

That's gotta be nice (vacation I mean!)!!
I'm going to have to really crank on these programs... I have 3 programs going on & may not get to go to the June 07 Richmond Honda meet ...I'm working late all week & even skipping my classes for this in hopes of getting to a point that I need to be at!!
