This is the longest day ever. Usually Wednesday's fly by, but this week is horrible. I work in the most boring industry EVER!

Ghey. I officially hate my job. I had my monthly one on one with my boss. Usually they go great, I tell her how busy I am she says ok let me know if you need anything.

This month she fired someone with a different job function from my team. She wont be replacing him, and from the sounds of it, instead of increasing the other side of my teams workload she wants me to take over quite a few of his roles. Aside from being mindnumbingling retarded tasks on that side of the team, the guy she fired was making more than me. I thought it would be a good time to ask for a raise, afterall she did just say she's doubling my workload! She tells me they can't budget for it, and even if they could she wouldn't until she can have a raise.

WTF is that about, she already makes double what I make just being a manager! She tells me she's living paycheck to paycheck, how about next time you don't have a kid then decide to leave your husband. Oh lets also not talk about the V8 4Runner she drives that gets 18mpg when a non lead foot drives it, but I've seen the way she drives she must get closer to 10 mpg and she was bitching about filling up her car.

I want to post out of this job so bad but I have 5 months, exactly 147 days til I'm able to post out to a different team.

thats why im stuck at costco.

everyone seems to be getting laid off.

i have a job opp as a customer service rep. making 18 an hour. but im not guaranteed the job(since the market is going down) who knows when the company wills hut down.

i worked with them with the last job, but they closed down after 5 years. they re opened a different comapany and offered.

i make 11.50 now at costco, but with benifits and everything.

and i drive 10 minutes rather 40 to the other job.


i want to leave costco, but im scared about loosing it all if that other company closes down.

I'd be careful with a company like that, especially with the shitty economy. I can't complain too much I guess I drive 6 miles and have benefits, but I do make at least $2k less a year than everyone on my team.

I emailed my boss's boss after I made that post and cooled down earlier. He's of course out of the office today and likely tomorrow so we'll see what I get as a response. Even if he doesn't hook it up he'll give me a real reason as to why I'm not getting one.

well see i used to work fro them (2yrs) great company. they sold direct tv and adt alarms.when i was the supervisor over the customer service team, i just monitored phone calls.


im really good friends with the CEO and the directors of compliance. (they were married but nobody knew )

well...the CEO had like 3 partners and they wernt doing their part.

so they split and the ceo started a new company. consisting of now 8 sales and 2 customer service.

instead of the 200 sales and 19 customer service.

i have the job...just dont know when the job might close down, due to slow business.
